A designer in NYC found our drop leaf harvest table in a google images search and thought it would be nice for a Manhattan apartment that she was renovating.
The clients had another table in mind, something they had seen and loved but was no longer available for sale. These pictures below are of the original table that they liked. We changed the design a bit for size and eliminated the fifth leg. Our table also has an apron under the leaf, unlike the original.
The table is built of Walnut with a Maple inlay and edge. With the leaf in, it is a dining table for four. With the leaf removed and the outer leaves dropped, it is a small hall table. It is a lovely delicate looking piece. In front of a real seamless backdrop, it would look dynamite! I’m sure it will look great in the apartment, too.
Nicole…tables are beautiful but dropcloths aren’t ironed!!!! hahaha
I love this table… Simple, yet extremely functional and versatile.
